Our MX-10160(F9400/F9800) 18 mm Gen 3 image intensifiers are engineered for night vision systems used in aviation such as the AN/AVS-6 and AN/AVS-9. The MX-10160 image intensifiers are manufactured according to US DOD MIL-PRF-49428F. All MX-10160 image intensifiers are qualified according to that specification and tested to meet customer requirements. Each image intensifier features a high efficiency GaAs photocathode banded to a glass input window, a microchannel plate electron multiplier and a phosphor screen on an inverting fiber optic output window. These technologies deliver a very high signal to noise ratio for extended detection ranges and also exceptional resolution in low light conditions.
