The PVS-7D is built around an 18 mm U.S. made Gen. 3 image intensifier. It has state-of-the-art Automatic Brightness Control (ABC), rapid-recovery Bright Source Protection (BSP), Low battery indicator and built-in IR illuminator for close-up illumination in complete darkness. Goggles have a quick release lever that permits one-hand mounting and dismounting from the headgear.
